Tom cribley

Tom’s career in managing emergency and crisis situations spans decades. Starting in High School with a volunteer Fire Department and Emergency First Aid team – working in first-response private ambulance services – then an extended career (35 years) in various operational, administrative and Command roles with the Denver Paramedics, a high-volume, high-intensity 911 service based out of the Denver Health and Hospital Authority. Following retirement in 2013, Tom was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Denver Public Safety Commission. He continues to share his passion through volunteer work with the Douglas County Search and Rescue Team and in his role as an educator. Tom shares his knowledge, skills and experiences to help others work through and manage difficult situations – striving to get them home safe and sound when their world goes awry.

 Al has been in EMS for 47 years. He had an extended career with the Denver Paramedic Division (29 years full time and 10 years part time). During his time at DHPD, Al served in several roles: EMS Captain, Coordinator of the Field Instructor Program, Coordinator of the Accelerated Paramedic Program, lead EVOC Instructor, Rocky Mountain Regional Coordinator for EVE, and Haz Mat Tech for the DHPD All Hazards Team. Al received Field Instructor of the Year and Supervisor of the Year awards during his tenure with the DHPD. He retired from full-time duties in 2013 and maintained continuous service in a part-time capacity until 2022.
